What does it mean to carry 20 years of history, heartbreak, and triumph into a single night through music alone? For Pierce The Veil, it means showing up in Cleveland on a humid summer night just after sunset and turning grief into something radiant. It means carrying the weight of something unthinkable and still showing up with everything you have to offer. Laying yourself bare in front of thousands of fans. What happened at Pierce The Veil’s I Can’t Hear You World Tour stop was chaotic, messy, honest, and human. If you’re anything like this elder emo, you’ve been a… Read more »
The first Pride was a riot—the Stonewall riots, to be exact. And it feels like the spirit of those early movements needs to return. However, celebrating who you are and who you love is an act of resistance! Not only does the whole team at idobi Radio celebrate Pride, these alternative musicians and brands are also celebrating the LGBTQ+ people in their lives this June and… Read more »
Marking his first new release of 2025 following the arrival of “700 sq ft” (featuring Trella) last fall, Jayden Seeley—best known as the former frontman of With Confidence—has returned with his latest solo offering, “Amplified.” “We’ve all felt it, right? When you step back to re-evaluate and realize that somewhere along the way, you got so off-course,” Seeley shares. “That somewhere along the way, the light in you had quietly dimmed to an ember. ‘Amplified’ is about re-stoking that fire—in fact, it’s about pouring kerosene on it and almost burning yourself in the process.” He continues, “It’s the first song… Read more »
In a sharp, two-minute burst, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die (TWIABP) return with their first release of 2025: the urgent and unapologetic “Beware The Centrist.” Nearly a year after their June 2024 single “Kersed,” the new track delivers a pointed critique of political apathy—taking aim at those who remain passive in the face of rising injustice and hate. The band shares, “Oppressors call rebels terrorists. Terror is a last resort tactic when speech, boycott, and protests are crushed and declawed. There are breaking points when average citizens are forced to embrace… Read more »

At long last, La Dispute have officially returned. The Michigan post-hardcore group launched not one, but three new singles: “I Shaved My Head,” “Man With Hands And Ankles Bound,” and “Autofiction Detail.” Plus, the group also shared that their fifth LP is on its way, entitled No One Was Driving The Car, set for release on September 5.
