This week I have long time friend and promoter from Arizona Stephen Chilton aka Psyko Steve! He has booked every band I’ve ever been in since I was the age of 17 years old, I met him by going to a concert in Arizona while visiting family because I cut these girls in line on accident on my way inside to the show (I thought I was going to the back of the line, but I went to the very front because I had never been to this place before). The Nerds are back from a week off with tons of good times to talk about. We have a new way to roll blunts from Packwoods and we think it’s pretty cool! In between playing Sad Summer Festival, State Champs have been filling up gaps on tour with their own headliner tour with supporting acts Hot Mulligan and My Kid Brother. This week I have Dallas Texas promoter Mike Ziemer. He’s done a lot of shows for most of the projects I’ve been apart of, and his festival is the reason I met my singer Dallon. We talk about how he got his start with everything to how he’s now in charge and creator of So What Music Festival. We’ve been friends for a number of years and we finally get to learn everything about what it’s like to be him.
