Phish Sets Eight-Show Fall Trek


Phish will eschew an extensive fall North American tour in favor of an eight-show run, which will include a New Year’s Eve show at American Airlines Arena in Miami. The outing will also play host to Phish’s 20th anniversary concert, set for Dec. 2 at Boston’s FleetCenter. Additional stops on the tour include Uniondale, N.Y. (Nov. 28), Philadelphia (Nov. 29), Albany, N.Y. (Dec. 1) and three additional shows in Miami (Dec. 28-30). Dates Set For Jagermeister Fall Music Tour – Slayer to Headline


The Jagermeister Fall Music Tour is coming, and heavy metal icons, Slayer, will lead the assault! Produced and promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment, the tour will let loose on October 8th in Minneapolis, MN and finish up in Los Angeles on November 29th. Barenaked Ladies Prep 'Everything' for Fall


Canadian band the Barenaked Ladies have completed their sixth full-length studio album, “Everything to Everyone,” and will release it on Oct. 21. The 14-track Reprise set will be preceded by the radio single “Another Postcard.” Chris Bowen, Matt Goldman, Brian Scott, Phil Stanton and Chris Wink of Blue Man Group fame contribute their PVC tube percussion to the song “Shopping,” which is one of four songs featuring strings arranged by bassist Jim Creegan. Nelly Furtado Expecting Child This Fall


It’s the fall of new releases for Nelly Furtado. Not only will the Grammy Award-winning singer release her second album, but she and her longtime boyfriend are expecting their first child in September. Two months later on November 25, the singer releases Fresh Off The Boat, the eagerly-anticipated follow-up to her multi-platinum selling debut album Whoa, Nelly!. matchbox twenty Sets Fall Tour of North America


Melisma/Atlantic rock group matchbox twenty is returning to the North American concert circuit this fall for a major cross-continental tour. Slated to open on September 24th in Tallahassee, Florida, the itinerary will keep the band on the road through the end of the year. Dashboard Confessional Sets Fall Tour


Alternative rock outfit Dashboard Confessional has unveiled plans for a fall tour, beginning Aug. 30 in Pittsburgh and wrapping Oct. 7 in St. Paul, Minn. The Chris Carrabba-led band will be touring in support of its upcoming Vagrant album, “A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar,” due Aug. 12. Avril Lavigne To Release Live Album DVD This Fall


While most artists wait to put out a live album until several years into their careers, Avril Lavigne has decided one year on the scene is long enough. The 18-year-old singer has announced plans to release a live CD and DVD titled My World in either September or October.
