Tommy Lee and MCA Records have parted ways. A spokesperson for Lee declined comment on the split. Lee said that with MCA’s support or not, he will continue to make music. “I sometimes think that if somebody took music away from me, I would probably die. I would absolutely f-kin’ die. Yoko Ono and Frederic Seaman, a former personal assistant to John Lennon, privately reached agreement early today in a U.S. District Court in Manhattan, foregoing closing arguments and jury deliberation after four days at trial. The lawsuit, filed by Ono over three years ago, charged Seaman – who worked with the Lennon family between 1979 and 1982 – with failing to return several documents and hundreds of photos after he was found guilty of grand larceny in 1982. Florida punk rockers New Found Glory are gearing up to release their first DVD, The Story So Far, next month. Due October 15th on MCA, the DVD features live footage showing the quintet’s rise from playing backyard shindigs to European tours. Former Ramones bassist Dee Dee Ramone (born Douglas Colvin) died on June 5 as a result of an accidental heroin overdose, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. “He had an abrasion on the left side of his forehead and a needle puncture wound on his left arm,” said spokesperson David Campbell, reading from the report. The body, which showed no other trauma, was found face down on the arm of a couch in Dee Dee’s Hollywood home by his wife.
