After teasing a featured guest on their 10-year re-release of “Dial Tones,” As It Is has officially revealed the special act: Lucas Woodland of Holding Absence. Sure, we were wrong on our initial guesses of Stand Atlantic and Derek DiScanio of State Champs, but Woodland is also an incredible artist who has a five-letter first name and eight-letter last name. As It Is just dropped a new teaser video on Instagram and TikTok sharing that they’re releasing a new version of “Dial Tones.” This time, the Never Happy, Ever After track contains a mystery featured guest artist. The teaser video sees the song in its more mature form with refined pop-punk sonics—after all, it’s been an entire decade. (Insert crying emoji here.)
