At just 16, he was already playing on Warped Tour, and his career quickly expanded from playing with bands in the alternative music scene like Black Veil Brides to performing with artists including rapper Ty Dolla $ign and televised appearances on Ellen, The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Nessa Barrett and Benson Boone. Emerging in the wake of their compelling dual EP releases, MoonEater and SoulEater, which debuted earlier this month, Magnolia Park entered the idobi Studios in North Hollywood with a mission. Their goal? To create a lush sonic temple for vocalist Joshua Roberts’ infectious voice to bounce off of in tandem with the group’s guitarists, Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales, armed with their acoustics. The Japanese rock band, One Ok Rock are outdoing themselves with the release of their new single, “Make It Out Alive.” Released via Fueled By Ramen, the song features the band’s signature rock sound by combining driving guitar parts with explosive drum fills that add an infectious energy after one listen. The song marks the band’s first release of 2023 and could very likely mark the beginning of a new album cycle. Leading up to the highly anticipated release of Craig Owens‘ Volume 1 album, a date that has been circled on our calendars all summer, an unfortunate turn of events unfolded. Owens found himself forced to cancel his final eight tour dates on the Volume One Tour scheduled throughout June and July due to a severe van accident. The incident occurred in the early hours of June 29, coinciding with Owens‘ slated performance in Philadelphia, PA, later that evening. Alternative songstress Sydney Sprague is going on her first-ever headlining tour this fall! Sharing the tour flyer with her fans this afternoon, the Somebody In Hell Loves You Tour will begin on the West Coast and take Sprague across the country to perform for her fans. The humorously titled tour is also the name of her second full-length album, set to drop on September 15 via Rude Records. The Brooklyn-based indie artist, PRONOUN has made her return with a brand new single, “SLAP ME IN THE FACE” today. Accompanied with a music video inspired by one of PRONOUN’s favorite movie scenes, it is quite lovely to have her back after nearly two years. PRONOUN is the alias of Alyse Vellturo, and her last release was 2021’s OMG I MADE IT.
