The Simpsons Kills Off Character After 35 Seasons

It’s time to pour one out, a Duff Beer, that is…because one Simpsons character has officially died. On a November 16 episode of the longest-running animated show, the writers wrote off none other than Alice Glick, the First Church organist. It was a quick death, as she died doing what she loved—playing the organ during Sunday worship. She first appeared on the show in their season 2 episode “Three Men and a Comic Book.” Originally voiced by Cloris Leachman, the character was later picked up by Tress MacNeille. Uh oh… My Chemical Romance has entered the “online discourse,” and long-time fans are clashing with “casual” fans. My Chemical Romance has just kicked off their Long Live The Black Parade tour, and some ticket holders took to social media to describe their surprise and perhaps upset with the band for their political themes. At the Seattle date, Gerard Way held an “election” with the crowd who “voted” for hooded “candidates” in the center of the stadium. In classic MCR theatrical fashion, these hooded figures were “executed” and taken out in body bags. “Thank you so very much for participating… Read more »
