Ex-Van Halen Singers Team Up For Sam & Dave Tour

It’s not exactly what Van Halen fans had hoped for, but it’s definitely intriguing. David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar, former singers for the group, will co-headline a national tour beginning May 29 near Cleveland. And if Tuesday’s (April 16) press conference to announce the outing is any indication, Diamond Dave and the Red Rocker are going to be the perfect pairing. Like a rock and roll comedy duo, the blond bastions of partying traded gags one-after-another at the Sky Bar, setting each other up and flashing face-wide grins at each punch line. “Sammy and I are like fraternity brothers… Read more »

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed against ‘N Sync by a firm that made giant look-alike puppets of band members for their 2000 American Music Awards performance. U.S. District Judge Robert Kelleher dismissed all claims against group members Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone Jr., and band manager Johnny Wright, court documents showed Friday. The judge… Read more »

For his first full-scale North American road trip in almost three years, Kravitz, following a European tour and fueled by his current single, “Stillness of Heart,” is set to visit 33 cities beginning July 12 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, according to his publicist. The nearly two-month jaunt winds down September 2 in Phoenix. The last time… Read more »
