The unclassifiable rock band Coheed and Cambria has signed with Columbia Records, who, in conjunction with Equal Vision Records, will re-issue the group’s watershed album, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, on Tuesday, June 29. O.A.R. will hit the road with Dave Matthews Band June 17 in Maryland Heights, MO, followed by festivals and headline amphitheatre tour dates. If ever there were two bands meant to tour together, O.A.R. and DMB surely fit that bill. Much like DMB, O.A.R. tours constantly and has created a network of incredibly loyal supporters. This year is a milestone for the Vans Warped Tour, as the hard rocking fest enters its tenth year of carrying the post-punk banner. The city’s West Side has a new retail, residential and commercial anchor, bringing high-end shopping, luxury living and the new headquarters of Time Warner Corp. to a corner overlooking Central Park. The $1.7 billion Time Warner Center, a 2.8 million-square-foot complex at Columbus Circle, was to open to the public on Thursday after a black-tie gala Wednesday night.
