Dave Shapiro—a well-respected music industry executive who opened doors for hundreds of alternative artists in the scene—has tragically passed away today, May 22, 2025, in a small jet plane crash in San Diego, CA. Dunes) covered Title Fight‘s “Numb, But I Still Feel It.” The track comes from Title Fight’s 2012 record Floral Green. In Green‘s cover, he softens the punk edges of the OG track with his iconic psychedelic rock sonics and glowing vocals. Today, the quintet released their new single, “Old Wounds.” With haunting stillness, the band departs from the intensity of their 2022 LP Past Lives, taking a slower approach to the release without sacrificing any raw instrumentals.
