Blink 182, the Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, and New Found Glory are among 20 artists set to appear on the Santa Clause ’03, a Christmas-themed benefit album scheduled for release on November 11, according to Billboard.com. Blink 182 will perform “I Won’t Be Home For Christmas,” while New Found Glory’s contribution will be called “Ex-Miss.” The Bosstones’ track, “This Time Of Year,” was previously available only as a giveaway to people who attended the band’s hometown Christmas shows in Boston. Sharon Osbourne is to go head-to-head with Queen Elizabeth II when she delivers an alternative festive season message on television on Christmas Day. Commercial station Channel 4 will broadcast an address from the wife of rock star Ozzy Osbourne at 3 p.m. (1500 GMT) on Dec. 25 – exactly the same time the queen is scheduled to give her traditional message on the BritishBroadcasting Corp. Arriving in stores Tuesday is 8 Days of Christmas, a new holiday album from the trio Destiny’s Child.
