Ice Cube Issued Apology By Chicago Police


Rapper and actor Ice Cube received an apology from the Chicago Police Department on Tuesday (July 22) after the department issued a community alert on Sunday (July 20), describing a man wanted for several sexual assaults as resembling Ice Cube. CBS’s Chicago affiliate WBBM-TV subsequently aired one of Ice Cube’s videos on Monday (July 21) while reporting on the police issued community alert. Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson Joins 'Chicago' Touring Company


Kevin Richardson will reprise his Broadway role as manipulative lawyer Billy Flynn when the national company of the musical Chicago plays the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco from August 4 to August 24. The tour, which is currently playing at the Ordway Performing Arts Center in Minnesota, will also make stops in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, and Maryland, among other states, according to Playbill.com. This fall, the Backstreet Boys singer will again portray Billy Flynn when Chicago moves to London’s fabled West End, according to Kentucky’s Louisville Courier-Journal.

Singer Mya has joined Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere, Queen Latifah, Christine Baranski and John C. Reilly in Miramax Films’ musical feature “Chicago.” Mya, who has released two albums on Interscope Records since 1998, is currently in Toronto rehearsing with the rest of the cast for her supporting role in the Rob Marshall-directed film.
