Soul legend Tina Turner on Friday unveiled plans to tour for the first time in eight years after her friend and film icon Sophia Loren told her it was time to hit the road again. Turner, 68, came out of retirement when she sang her hit song “Proud Mary” with R&B singer Beyonce at February’s Grammy Awards, and the pair brought the crowd to its feet. Motley Crue launching traveling rock festival


Motley Crue is taking a page from the Ozzy Osbourne playbook by launching its own touring hard-rock festival, the band said on Tuesday. Crue Fest, whose roster also includes Grammy-nominated acts Buckcherry and Papa Roach, will kick off in West Palm Beach, Fla., on July 1, and take in 41 cities across United States and Canada. Avril Lavigne, known for her pairing of frilly dresses and combat boots, will bring her style to the juniors department at Kohl’s department stores. Spice Girls concerts canceled


The Spice Girls have dropped Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina from their world tour, which reportedly has been drawing a disappointing turnout at some concerts. Radiohead's "Rainbows" yields pot of gold


British rock band Radiohead scored its second No. 1 album on the U.S. pop charts on Wednesday with a release that was initially sold on the Internet under a revolutionary “name-your-own-price” system. “In Rainbows” also topped the charts in Britain, Canada, France, Japan and Ireland, a representative for the group said.
