Black Sabbath took their final bow on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, prior to Ozzy Osbourne‘s passing. Musical director, Rage Against The Machine‘s Tom Morello, initially reported that the farewell show and charity concert, supporting Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice, raised $190 million between ticket sales, merchandise, and pay-per-view livestream tickets. Many outlets, including Billboard, also shared his figure along with the stats of 40,000 ticketholders and 5.8 million livestream viewers. However, the concert, which boasted appearances from YUNGBLUD, Gojira, Mastodon, Halestorm, Metallica, and many more notable acts, likely made less than that,… Read more »

At the 2025 VMAs this past weekend, YUNGBLUD joined Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Nuno Bettencourt to honor Ozzy Osbourne—The Prince of Darkness—through the thing he loved most: music. Introduced by Ozzy’s son Jack alongside his children, the tribute ripped through “Crazy Train” (complete with the iconic “All aboard!”), Black Sabbath’s “Changes” (the same song YUNGBLUD performed during Ozzy’s final show, Back To The Beginning), and “Mama, I’m Coming Home.” The performance left the audience—including Ariana Grande—in awe, but not everyone shared the sentiment. The Darkness, best remembered for their fleeting 2003 hit “I Believe In A Thing Called… Read more »
YUNGBLUD, in our totally unbiased opinion, was one of the most iconic performers on the recent September 7 Video Music Awards show. The performer showed up and showed out in his trademark black leather pants and donned a black leather coat as he offered a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. In fact, Jack Osbourne introduced the performance alongside his children. The singer also wore Ozzy’s iconic cross necklace, kissing it before taking center stage. YUNGBLUD kicked off the performance with “Crazy Train,” which even included the iconic “All aboard!” He then elegantly switched modes into Black Sabbath‘s “Changes,” the same piece… Read more »
During a WWE stream from Birmingham on Monday, August 25, performers Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella did some trash-talking to promo their Clash in Paris fight. However, some metal fans believe Lynch’s cheap, verbal punches featuring Ozzy Osbourne, a Birmingham native, went a bit too far. After all, Ozzy was laid to rest only mere weeks ago after passing on July 22. Recently, Kelly Osbourne weighed in via an Instagram Story post. Notably, Lynch, the classic wrestling villain, said, “The only good thing that came out of [Birmingham] died a month ago. But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had… Read more »

On Wednesday, July 30, thousands of Ozzy Osbourne fans gathered in his hometown of Birmingham, England, to witness the funeral procession for the music icon, who passed on July 22. The public showing of the casket in a clear-windowed hearse preceded a private ceremony for close friends and family members. As the hearse rode through the streets decked out in purple flowers reading “OZZY,” fans tossed flowers at the car and also chanted “Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy.” Additionally, a small marching band paved the way for the hearse, performing Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath hits such as “Iron Man.” The hearse… Read more »
