Kid Rock Revs Up Tour Bus for 2004


Fresh from the November release of his self-titled album, Kid Rock is preparing for an arena tour in 2004. The trek will begin with a Jan. 22-23 stand in Saginaw, Mich.; 11 dates have been confirmed so far, through Feb. 14 in Raleigh. Rock will be backed by his band Twisted Brown Trucker — guitarists Kenny Olson and Jason Krause, keyboardist Jimmie Bones and drummer Stefanie Eulinberg. Music Artists, MTV Link to Raise AIDS Awareness


International artists are joining MTV in a multimedia campaign to raise awareness of the impact of HIV and AIDS in South Africa. The “46664” initiative takes its name from the prisoner number of former South African president Nelson Mandela when he was jailed under the apartheid regime in his country. Mandela is the figurehead of the new campaign. Duran Duran Announce North American Tour Dates


The Wild Boys are back, and they’re coming to a theater or auditorium near you. Duran Duran have set the first 16 dates of their fall reunion tour, which will kick off November 8 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. So far the outing is scheduled to wrap November 30 in San Diego, although more dates are likely to be added.
