Veteran punk act Bad Religion is lining up a North American tour in support of its upcoming Epitaph album “The Process of Belief,” due out Jan. 22. Before setting out with Hot Water Music and Less Than Jake for a March 1 opener in Houston, Bad Religion will play four special club shows on Jan. 23 in San Francisco and Jan. 24-26 in Los Angeles. U2 wraps up the latest North American leg of its Elevation world tour this weekend, with shows Friday (November 30) in Atlanta, Saturday (December 1) in Tampa, and Sunday (December 2) in Miami, just down the road from Fort Lauderdale, where the tour opened on March 24. Alicia Keys, the 20-year-old hip-hop star who made a big splash this year with her debut album, scored five American Music Award nominations on Tuesday, easily outdistancing her nearest rivals. Ten acts, including late R&B singer Aaliyah, country star Tim McGraw and boy band ‘N Sync, picked up two nominations each, organizers said. ABC Radio Networks and Radio One, Inc. have partnered to form a history-making platform that creates the largest radio network reaching the African-American marketplace. The new partnership enables ABC Radio Networks’ Urban Advantage Network (UAN) to be available to more than 93 percent of African-American consumers.
