On a random January Wednesday night, the Arizona five-piece dropped dyed (2008-2023), a compilation album of reimagined demos. Each track honors the band’s nine album eras. Vocalist John O’Callaghan noted, “Revisiting the past can stir up all sorts of feelings. Nostalgia, fondness, gratitude, and on and on and on. After cryptically teasing the recorded version of their unreleased single “Better Days,” Yellowcard has basically confirmed that a new record is coming. On January 13, Yellowcard took to Instagram to share their album recording checklist. While no song titles were revealed, X marks seem to indicate that most, if not all, of the rhythm guitar, bass, and strings have been tracked.
