After cryptically teasing the recorded version of their unreleased single “Better Days,” Yellowcard has basically confirmed that a new record is coming. On January 13, Yellowcard took to Instagram to share their album recording checklist. While no song titles were revealed, X marks seem to indicate that most, if not all, of the rhythm guitar, bass, and strings have been tracked. It seems like Yellowcard is teasing new music, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. On January 7, the band took to Instagram and TikTok to share stories of what sounds like the recorded version of the track “Better Days,” which they debuted live in Glasgow. The 22-second post merely shows a speaker seemingly blaring a dazzling vocal run from William Ryan Key. Against The Current‘s Chrissy Costanza has revealed a new solo single, “Perfect Crime.” The track is preceded by the October 2024 release of her debut EP VII. Costanza shares of the new track, “The ‘Perfect Crime’ is about the silent, invisible ways we self-destruct—a crime no one knows you’ve committed because it’s all hidden behind a smile.” Then she notes, “The song has a grainy rock sound; it’s intense and defiant.
