For the second year in a row, The Vans Warped Tour has been sucked out of Boreal Mountain Resort down the mountain to the Sleep Train Amphitheatre near Sacramento. But that doesn’t mean local bands can’t participate. Warped Tour Sets Lineup, Itinerary


Bad Religion, the Vandals, Good Charlotte, Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards, and NOFX are among the more than 50 acts set for the 10th anniversary edition of the Vans Warped Tour. The trek, which will begin June 25 in Houston, will also feature New Found Glory, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard, the (International) Noise Conspiracy, Simple Plan, Bouncing Souls, and Coheed & Cambria. 'Punk Rock Holocaust!' Warped Tour Slasher Flick On The Way


And you thought Andrew W.K. was scary. The organizers behind the Vans Warped Tour are tapping into the world of cinema by filming a “teenage slasher film” during the trek. “It’s about a disgruntled employee,” said Kevin Lyman, founder of the tour that mixes extreme sports and punk/ska music. “The guy gets fired the first day and he comes back and puts a curse on the Warped Tour. Warped Tour Kicks Off In Boise, Idaho


The Warped Tour kicked off in Boise, Idaho at the Idaho Center Amphitheater on Thursday (June 19), playing to 10,000 fans. The festival opened at noon with a mad rush of vendors and fans to claim spots, akin to the Oklahoma land rush. The performances began at 12:30 p.m. with 2 Cents on the mainstage, and continued through closing act Face To Face, which went on at about 10:00 pm. Bowling For Soup Release New Track, Announce Warped Tour Dates


As a follow up to their radio hit “Girl All The Bad Guys Want,” Jive recording artist Bowling For Soup went back into the studio with producer Butch Walker and recorded three new tracks, “Punk Rock 101,” “Smile” and a cover of the 80’s A Flock of Seagulls smash “I Ran.” “Punk Rock 101” will be released to CHR and Alternative radio formats on May 19th. Sum 41 Added To Warped Tour, Turned Down Summer Sanitarium


Sum 41 will be busy this summer, but it won’t be on Metallica’s Summer Sanitarium 2003.
