The powerful song is part of Kingdom IV: Return of the Great General, which just hit theaters in Japan. The chorus is brutal yet poignant. “Why does it feel/Like they don’t feel anything?/I pray there’s a future behind those walls/(But maybe I’m delusional)/Let’s make a deal/Pretend this bastard democracy/Is just how we want it and we’re not exhausted,” the band sings. Kicking off an explosive debut night at the idobi Radio Summer School Tour, Magnolia Park brought their high-octane energy to Cleveland, OH. They performed their latest single, “Shallow,” as well as “Animal,” “Do Or Die,” and more.
