Daniel Williams, former drummer of The Devil Wears Prada, tragically died in a plane crash in San Diego, CA. He was serving as co-pilot alongside the late music executive Dave Shapiro at the time of the accident. He was 39 years old. A founding member of the band, Williams played on formative releases including Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord (2006), Plagues (2007), With Roots Above And Branches Below (2009), Dead Throne (2011), 8:18 (2013), and the Space EP (2015), before departing the group in July 2016. After releasing Clancy on May 24, 2024, Twenty One Pilots have officially announced that their new album Breach is on the way.
