Like Moths To Flames has announced their new album, THE CYCLES OF TRYING TO COPE, via UNFD. It comes out on May 10, and the third single from the upcoming LP, “Kintsugi,” released today, taps into a melodic metalcore vibe paired with a black-and-white music video. They’ve previously released two other tracks, and the band says each song relates to a coping “cycle.” The intro starts heavy with guitars and goes into clean vocals from frontman Chris Roetter. He belts screams while building up into the verse. The lyrics, “When it breaks/What piece am I left with?” break down the… Read more »
Dayseeker releases their haunting cover of Evanescence’s song, “My Immortal.” The track will be on their upcoming acoustic album, Replica, which drops on April 19 via Spinefarm. When the chorus builds up, the emotional tangent Rodriguez rips into is simplistically gripping. It is a rare feat when it comes to reimagining classic works… Read more »
Matt Cutshall is the mastermind behind Emo’s Not Dead and more viral emo videos. However, between planning events for elder emos, including the recent Emo’s Not Dead Cruise, and crafting content, Cutshall is also making new-age pop-punk under the moniker Your Broken Hero. In fact, he had the chance to perform on the cruise, as well. Today, Your Broken Hero dropped a new music video for the track “Don’t Listen To My Voicemail” featuring Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan. With hilariously self-deprecating visuals, the “Don’t Listen To My Voicemail” includes packs of Pabst Blue Ribbon (the No. 1 choice of… Read more »
Creeper has arrived with a thrilling and haunting new music video for track “Lovers Led Astray.” The song appeared on their October 2023-released LP Sanguivore, and features industrial instrumentals and gothic whispers. “We made the video for ‘Lovers Led Astray’ with one of our favourite visual artists, Harry Steel. The video explores the themes of the song while experimenting with light and shadow, says vocalist William Von Ghould. “It is an unholy communion of light and dark which threads together the themes of the existing Sanguivore universe while presenting something new and provocative at the same time.” Check out the… Read more »
