Sunday night marked the 25th annual Video Music Awards and there were few surprises as MTV pretended that music is the network’s number one priority for one evening.
Paranormal investigator Dan Rivera, 54, suddenly died on Sunday, July 13, in Gettysburg, PA, while on the Devils on the Run tour, hosted by The New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR). The tour boasted that it would bring Ed and Lorraine Warren’s (the primary inspiration for The Conjuring film series) “investigations to life.” This included showcasing haunted objects from the Warren’s Occult Museum, including the infamous Annabelle doll. At this time, the cause of death has not been shared. Clad in their Black Parade marching band uniforms, My Chemical Romance welcomed fans back to The Black Parade yesterday, July 11, in Seattle, WA, for night one of the “Long Live” The Black Parade tour. Violent Femmes kicked off the night with a rousing 13-song setlist, featuring fan favorites “Kiss Me” and “Gone Daddy Gone” before MCR took to the stage.
