Fat Mike

Super happy to have our old friend Mike Burkett aka Fat Mike from NOFX on my show this week! We’ve known Mike since 2001 so there’s lots to talk about and not only that, NOFX is one of the reasons if not the main reason why Sum 41 was started. Mike Is one if the most interesting figures in Punk Rock so you can imagine its a no hold barred conversation. This episode is not to be missed! Punk rock, partying, humor, honesty–it’s all right here this week on Cone’s Cave!

Jim Lindberg

This week I have a punk rock legend on my show. He’s an old friend and someone in a band that highly influenced my band Sum 41 to start. I have Jim Lindberg, front man and lead vocalist of Pennywise on my show! This is a very important episode as we dive into world issues, a little politics, Pennywise songs & lyrics, Bad Religion, The Clash and a whole lot more. If you like Punk Rock this one is definitely for you!

Jonny Two Bags

This week I have Jonny Two Bags, guitarist of the legendary punk band Social Distortion on my show. Social D is a personal favorite of mine. To me and obviously a lot of people they have never put out a bad record. Thats a fact. Sum 41 also opened for Social D in 2000 for a week when we were 19 and 20 years old and you’ll definitely get to hear a few stories from that tour as it was also one Jonny’s first tours in Social Distortion after guitarist Denis Danell passed away. Lots to talk about with one of the coolest Jonny Two Bags! Don’t miss it.

Matt Riddle

My guest this week is my old friend, old touring mate and fellow Bassist Matt Riddle from Fat Wreck Chords recording artists No Use For A Name. Sum 41 and No Use For A Name did a huge 8-9 week US tour in 2003 so you can bet we talk a lot about the fun and funny times we had on that. On the other side of course we had to talk about the tragic death of No Use For A Name singer Tony Sly as well. The emotions run deep in this one! Don’t miss it.

Kevin Bivona

This week my guest is Kevin Bivona from The Interrupters who are going to soon be our (Sum 41) tour mates in the US for10 weeks! As well as being the Guitar player and one of the song writers in The Interrupters Kevin has also worked with such artists as Rancid, Jimmy Cliff, Blink 182, The Transplants to name a few. Get a glimpse into Kevin’s busy musically life and here stories about working with those very bands!
