Atlantic Records has announced that the eagerly awaited fourth album from Jewel, entitled This Way, will be released by the label on November 13th. This Way is Jewel’s first album since the 1999 release of Joy: A Holiday Collection, and marks her first album of all-new, self-penned material since 1998’s Spirit. Atlantic Records has announced the forthcoming release of the new studio album from Tori Amos. Entitled “STRANGE LITTLE GIRLS,” this assemblage of songs is due in stores on September 18th. All the songs on the album were written by men, but are performed by Tori from the perspectives of a diverse cast of female characters. Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros will launch a U.S. tour in October behind their second album, Global a Go-Go, which arrives in record stores on July 24th. Capitol recording artist Pru has broken the rules by cutting a brand new version of her signature composition “Aaroma (Of a Man),” which will be serviced in June. This version of the seductive ballad will be added to her self-titled debut album PRU, which will be redesigned and repackaged as part of a newly-organized campaign.
