Manchester Orchestra release ‘Hope’, announce tour dates


Manchester Orchestra released a new album today, titled ‘Hope’. The album is a re-imagined companion to April’s debut of COPE and features the same track list in a softer setting. The band will also tour to support ‘Hope’ late this fall.

CMJ Music Marathon announces artist lineup


The 33rd annual CMJ Music Marathon will take place in New York City October 15th-19th. The event, which spans across 80 venues, aims to break new artists as well as feature established artists. Acts playing the festival this year include You Me At Six, The Sounds, The Dismemberment Plan, NGHBRS, Echosmith, Braid, and more. Cypress Hill Releasing 'Stoned Raiders'


Columbia Records is releasing “Stoned Raiders,” the eagerly-awaited new album from Cypress Hill, the first full-length studio outing from the group since 2000’s platinum-selling “Skull & Bones” and the group’s first album since last year’s “Live At The Fillmore.” The latest chapter in the ongoing saga of alterna-rap’s best-selling bold marauders, “Stoned Raiders” carries on Cypress Hill’s uncanny patented hip-hop/rock meld. Warner Bros.' Prints On Prince's Music Again


The man who once wrote “slave” across his face to protest the way Warner Bros. Records was treating him probably isn’t too happy with his ex-label’s latest move. On July 31, the Warner Catalog Group will dip its paws back into the artist’s sonic real estate by releasing The Very Best of Prince via Rhino Records. When asked for comment on the release, Prince’s publicist said the purple one was unavailable.
