This marks 30 years since I first met Dave in 9th Grade in Ajax where we grew up as well as 25 years since we first played in Sum 41 together. Lots to talk about with Dave obviously. Following the release of summer’s “Sunshine,” which was co-written with MGK, MOD SUN is back with his new song, “Hotel Lights.” Prior to its release, MOD SUN took to Instagram to share, “Been trying to make a song like this my whole career. Ahead of the release of their sophomore record Things Are Different Now due out on September 27, Rain City Drive is back with their new single, “Concrete Closure,” via Thriller Records. A fan-favorite Spanish Love Songs track just got the acoustic treatment. From August 2023’s No Joy, the band stripped back “Clean-Up Crew,” releasing it on September 5 via Pure Noise Records. Previously, the band transformed No Joy song “Haunted” into a folksy, earnest, acoustic dream.
