This week I have drummer Pete Parada on my show, he’s played for many bands that I’ve loved over the years, he’s played for such bands as: Face To Face, Saves The Day, My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, and now he shares his new project The Defiant. I learn Pete’s story about how he got to LA and did the drum thing, and it reminded me of myself, we had a good conversation and I learn a lot about his journey.

Epitaph Records trio, THICK have announced new tour dates this summer running from early June through July. The tour will kick off on June 8th in Portsmouth, NH and wrap up on July 22nd in New York, NY. The Brooklyn-based band will bring Crooked Teeth, Bad Waitress, Grumpster and TVOD along for support on select dates. Today the duke of spook, Wednesday13, has announced a fall 2023 US headline tour to celebrate 21 years of his former band, revered glam punk icons, Murderdolls. Wednesday13 and his current band – which features former Murderdolls alumni Roman Surman and Jack Tankersley – will perform a full set of Murderdolls songs, taken from the band’s celebrated 2002 debut album, Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls and their 2010 sophomore album, Women And Children Last. The former won them the Revolver Golden Gods ‘Comeback Of The Year’ Award. Flogging Molly has announced an extensive six week long tour this summer spanning from early August to late September. The tour will kick off in Denver, CO on August 17th and wrap up in Orlando, FL on September 30th. The band will be joined by The Bronx for the entirety of the tour with the exception of festival dates. Mac Demarco has announced a string of summer dates to support his brand new instrumental album Five Easy Hot Dogs that came out in January of this year.
