Looks like Slasher Summer is kicking off a little early this year, thanks to Ice Nine Kills and their newly announced tourmates! Kicking off at the end of April, The Silver Scream-A-Thon will include two nights in each city to celebrate the band’s 2018 and 2021 albums. On night one, The Word Alive, The Funeral Portrait, and Melrose Avenue will join the two-night events. Following the release of Corey Taylor‘s and Bad Omens‘ cover of “Dust In The Wind,” a new Queen Of The Ring soundtrack has just dropped. Kittie, The Pretty Wild, and Diamante teamed up to craft their rendition of Metallica‘s “The Unforgiven.” According to a recent press release, the movie is “written and directed by Ash Avildsen, brings to life the untold story of wrestling legend Mildred Burke, who shattered barriers in the 1930s–1950s to become the first million-dollar female athlete and headline arenas over male competitors in a time when women’s wrestling was outright banned across much of the U.S.”… Read more »
Valentine’s Day has passed, but love is still in the air with Mayday Parade‘s most recent single release, “Towards You.” Preceded by “By The Way” and “Pretty Good To Feel Something,” the song will appear on the band’s first album in a forthcoming trilogy release titled Sweet on April 18. Lead vocalist Derek Sanders shares, “‘Towards You’ is really just a simple love song.
