After revealing their comedy movie project in February 2025 with Live Nation Productions, Green Day has officially revealed the first teaser and film poster for New Years Rev. The film, inspired by Green Day’s early tour days in a van, was written and directed by Lee Kirk. The project stars major names including Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, Ryan Foust, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, McKenna Grace, Keen Ruffalo, and Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, but it also features a cameo from none other than The Paradox. Internet sleuths caught onto the Riverdale actor’s new project when he began posting on TikTok with the name Mr. Fantasy—some videos being more unhinged than others. Donning a wig with a brown bob and straight-across bangs, Apa is letting his freak flag fly, speaking in a British accent with vibrant vintage-style clothing. At long last, Ontario-based twin duo Softcult has officially revealed the details for their debut full-length record, When A Flower Doesn’t Grow. Inspired by Alexander Den Heijer’s quote—”When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower”— the LP is set for release on January 30, 2026, via Easy Life Records. Alongside the album announcement, the duo launched the official video for “16/25,” a shimmering, shoegazey grunge tune with a vital message. mgk recently dropped his record, lost americana, on August 8, and he celebrated in style by hosting a weekend’s worth of performances in his hometown, Cleveland. While in the city, he shot the music video for album track, “tell me whats up,” with his friends, including Mod Sun, and his fans.
