This past weekend, The Academy Is… played a dazzling set at Chicago’s Riot Fest. Ahead of their main festival slot, the William Beckett-helmed group played a Riot Fest Late Night Aftershow on September 20 at Concord Music Hall. Here, they played classic hits such as “About A Girl” and unearthed some fan-faves such as “Skeptics and True Believers,” which they had not performed since 2015. On Sunday, September 21, Cobra Starship took to the Riot Fest stage to play the hits from their timeless discography, including “The City Is At War,” “Guilty Pleasure,” and beyond.
