Morissette Sets Europe Tour, L.A. Club Gigs

Alanis Morissette is not letting a contract dispute with her label prevent her from hitting the road to try out some new songs. The Canadian pop singer will begin a 12-country tour of European festivals, arenas and clubs in Nuremberg, Germany on June 1, which also happens to be her 27th birthday. She will warm up with two shows at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theater on May 25 and 26, her publicist announced Thursday. Guns N' Roses To Play London

Guns N’ Roses will play the UK for the first time since their shows at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1993. Tickets go on sale Friday (March 2). A source close to the band hinted the show will not be part of an extensive UK tour, although an extra date at the Docklands has not been ruled out. The band’s long-awaited new album, ‘Chinese Democracy’, is expected in June to coincide with the shows.
