Ethel Cain Releases Ethereal Cover Of American Football’s “For Sure”


American Football is celebrating 25 years of their iconic self-titled debut, aka LP1. The anniversary will be marked by the release of a remastered version of American Football and a covers album featuring Manchester Orchestra, Yvette Young, and more. The anniversary albums will be available on October 18 via Polyvinyl Record Co. Royal & the Serpent Shares Haunting Cover Of “Where Did You Sleep Last Night?”


Royal & the Serpent just dropped a haunting, pop-rock-tinged cover of folk and blues musician Lead Belly’s classic “Where Did You Sleep Last Night.” Nirvana‘s 1993 MTV Unplugged cover of the track is also well-known in pop culture.
