But nearly six months after his death, the identity of his killer and the motive behind the shooting remain a mystery. Seven weeks after heart bypass surgery, doctors cleared Lynyrd Skynyrd founding lead guitarist Gary Rossington to return to touring with the southern rock band starting in June. Rossington, 51, underwent the quintuple bypass surgery Feb. 25 at an Atlanta-area hospital. Band spokesman Lathum Nelson said Thursday in Los Angeles that the cardiologist gave Rossington the green light to return to stage June 13 in Karlsruhe, Germany. “Since his surgery, Gary has done well. Fabolous and Talib Kweli kick off the hip-hop-oriented stretch April 19 at Lincoln University in Philadelphia. The surviving members of legendary punk group The Clash will not perform when they are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this month, bass player Paul Simonon said Saturday. One of the most influential bands to emerge from the British punk movement of the 1970s, The Clash split up in the mid-1980s and never reformed. They may have both won Grammy Awards but the editors at People magazine say that India.Arie and Kelly Rowland were big losers when it came to fashion. The magazine’s website list what it considers some of the fashion faux pas at the awards show, and Arie and Rowland didn’t make the cut.
