AT&T censors Pearl Jam's anti-Bush lyrics


By Pearl Jam fans and Internet watchdogs were up in arms Thursday after it was revealed that AT&T Inc. censored portions of the rock band’s live concert cybercast on Sunday. While performing “Daughter” during the annual Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, the band segued into a portion of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall,” during which frontman Eddie Vedder sang, “George Bush, leave this world alone” and “George Bush, find yourself another home.” Those lyrics were missing from the broadcast. Kelly Osbourne to join cast of `Chicago'


Kelly Osbourne will make her West End debut in “Chicago.” Osbourne, 22, will join the cast at London’s Cambridge Theater, playing the role of prison matron Mama Morton during a seven-week run starting Sept. 10, the theater said Monday. She found fame on the reality show “The Osbournes” alongside her parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and her brother, Jack. Iggy Pop has backed Elijah Wood’s credentials to play him in an upcoming biopic on the rock legend. Rumors about a movie following the life and times of the Stooges icon have been rife for some months, with the Lord Of The Rings star tipped to play the lead role. Crowded House beginning U.S. tour in August


Reunited rock trio Crowded House will tour North America for the first time in more than 10 years, beginning August 4 in Northampton, Mass. The tour runs through mid-September and includes a previously announced appearance at Seattle’s annual Bumbershoot festival on September 1. The tour will promote the Neil Finn-led band’s forthcoming album “Time on Earth,” to be released July 10 via Dave Matthews’ ATO label.
