EDM DJ Illenium isn’t a stranger to the alternative scene. During his Los Angeles, CA, shows on February 2 and 3 at SoFi Stadium, he brought out several special guests. The tour is to support his self-titled independent release, which arrived last spring. Illenium’s exploration into the alt scene isn’t unheard of. From First To Lasts’ Sonny Moore ventured into dubstep in the early 2000s, which kicked off the blurring of genres and the possibility of experimenting with different sounds. Are you ready to ARF ARF? Knocked Loose has announced their North American spring tour with Show Me The Body, Loathe, and Speed. Fans can text: 502-289-6067 for early access to tickets, with general sales beginning on Friday, February 2, at 10 AM local time. The tour starts in Las Vegas, NV, at Sick New World Fest, and the 30-date run wraps up in St. Petersburg, FL, on June 9. Next month, fans in Europe and the UK have a chance to see them, too. Longtime bassist Piggy D. announced that he’s officially parted ways with Rob Zombie and co. In the wake of his absence, the original member of the lineup, Rob “Blasko” Nicholson, rejoins the outfit. Blasko left in 2006, with Piggy D. replacing him, when he linked up with Ozzy Osbourne’s ensemble. Nicholson will continue with Osbourne and Zombie. “After 18 years, I am thrilled to announce that Blasko has returned,” Zombie wrote on his Instagram. “The four-string Zombie monster is back. With their farewell shows underway, the remaining three members of Issues—Skyler Acord, Josh Manuel, and AJ Rebollo—joined by The Home Team’s vocalist, Brian Butcher, have been delivering a cathartic adieu to their dedicated fanbase for all of the support they’ve shown the storied group throughout their careers. Bad Omens has officially unleashed their latest masterpiece, the explosive collaborative single “V.A.N,” featuring Sumerian Records labelmate Poppy. The metalcore outfit first began teasing this collaboration this past weekend, Sunday, January 21, after the group scrubbed their Instagram channel clean. Following this bold move, they shared a cryptic snippet of Poppy cradling a white rabbit.
