This week I have Kevin Jordan of the band This Wild Life on the show, we met ages ago from us both being previously involved with Epitaph Records, I have him on the show and he talks to me about how he got his music career started. He’s a great guy and their band went viral and we hear his story.
Pat and Seb talk about their favourite games. Board games, video games, phone games
On this week’s episode, Jaret and Gary talk with Dave Schrader who is a radio host for, The Paranormal 60, as well as a paranormal investigator/researcher, TV personality and host of the Travel Channel show, TheHolzerFiles with Cindy Kaza & Shane Pittman
(THIS EPISODE IS DEDICATED TO THE LOVING MEMORY OF MARK LANEGAN, REST IN PARADISE, KING). Oh man, if I’ve ever been beside myself on this show, it’s this week! We are beyond honored to have Barrett Martin on the show, founding member of the legendary staple of the Pacific Northwest, Screaming Trees. But the thing we have been most moved by was a supergroup that Barrett was a part of in the mid 90’s called, “Mad Season”. The one album they put out, “I’m Above”, truly changed and has continued to mold my life. Maximum respect, Barrett, Aloha!
This week I have drummer Dan Whitesides of the band The Used, we came up together in the Salt Lake City music scene together, he is someone I really looked up to when I was growing up, he was in multiple bands around the city and I hoped one day I’d get to match his abilities as a drummer. We catch up and talk about what it was like for Dan and how he got his start in music all the way to today.
Josh Cohen did something many of us are intimidated by; he left a successful career for his passion. At 33, Josh said goodbye to a job in sales to pursue a career working in the music industry. He took an unpaid internship to get his foot in the door and got the ball rolling. In this episode, Josh will explain how he made a career transition at a time in his life when most settle for what’s convenient. I hope you feel inspired by his tenacity and enjoy getting to know Josh.
This week I have Canadian alt rock duo The Blue Stones. I got introduced to them in Salt Lake City where we both crossed paths thru mutual friends, I asked them to come by the studio once they came to L.A. and I got to learn all about them, I checked out their music and was thrilled with what I heard, I didn’t really know these guys until now but I’m glad I do, and you’ll be glad too.
