Sometimes the songs hidden between the singles on an album are the best ones. Maybe they weren’t front and center, but they play an integral part of the narrative. “Heart Of Gold” by Beauty School Dropout is a shining example of this notion. Not a primary focus of their sophomore album, READY TO EAT, but perhaps the last piece of the puzzle that when you step back, makes the effort complete. With their forthcoming record, There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive, just around the corner, Bayside has returned with their latest offering, “Miracle,” from the April 5 album. The anthemic new release is propelled forward by a steady cacophony of guitars and drum fills that act as the backdrop to vocalist Anthony Raneri’s commanding delivery. The chorus, “I’m already in so deep/And I’ve gotta get off my knees/Will I waste my life trying to get by/When a miracle is what I need?/When a miracle is what I need?” effortlessly captures the strength and perseverance of the new release. After inking a deal with Fearless Records, DE’WAYNE has returned with his sexy new single, “synthesizer.” Inspired by the timeless groove of the Commodores’ 1977 chart-topping and Grammy-nominated single “Brick House,” which the four-piece penned “about the perfect woman—in their eyes,” DE’WAYNE infuses his own unique rockstar flair into his latest offering that captures a similar sentiment of all-consuming love.
