Snoop Busted for Pot


Snoop Dogg (a.k.a. Calvin Broadus) was hit with marijuana possession charges after two of his tour buses were pulled over for speeding just west of Cleveland. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped the buses on I-90, where Snoop’s buses were en route to tonight’s show in Milwaukee as part of the appropriately named Puff, Puff, Pass Tour. About 200 grams of marijuana were found on one bus, and Snoop and two other passengers were charged with the misdemeanor possession offense, which carries a maximum penalty of a $100 fine. Janet Jackson Cancels Europe Tour After U.S. Attacks

VH1 is going bananas with New York-based music events. On Thursday the music cable channel announced it was joining with Miramax and Cablevision to present a Madison Square Garden benefit concert featuring Paul McCartney and the Who for victims of the attack on the World Trade Center.
