MTV Adds Web Element to Preview Week


Spankin’ New Music Week, MTV’s annual weeklong hypefest to promote the music industry’s biggest fourth-quarter releases, comes with a new Internet spin this year. Made Clothing Partners With Nike


Made Clothing have announced a partnership with Nike to manufacture a limited edition run of Nike Dunk shoes. The clothing company, started by Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden, will produced 100-300 pairs of Made branded sneakers. While some will be made available to the public, most will be provided to bands that the company sponsors. Made Clothing will also set aside some sneakers for donation to charities such as Amnesty International. Goldfinger Singer Suspected Of Vandalism, Home Raided By Authorities


Goldfinger front man and animal rights activist John Feldmann and his wife Amy, were featured on the syndicated television show, Celebrity Justice, last week. The segment dealt with an incident that occurred on October 3rd, when the couple’s Los Angeles area home was raided by over 30 law enforcement officials after they were falsely suspected of taking part in an act of vandalism against the home of Jerry Greenwalt, the General Manager for the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services. NFL Kicks Off Season With Big Concert


Rain and mud were no match for a crowd of thousands who flocked to the National Mall Thursday for a free concert featuring Britney Spears, Aerosmith and Aretha Franklin. The concert was staged by the NFL to create excitement about the start of football season – a game between the Washington Redskins and New York Jets.
