Country star Shania Twain didn’t get her wish when she won three prizes at the 32nd annual Juno Awards, Canada’s equivalent of the Grammys, over the weekend. It’s another record for The Boss. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have added two more dates at Giants Stadium after tickets for the original seven shows in July sold out Saturday. That marked the first time in Ticketmaster history that a performer sold tickets for seven stadium dates in a single day. The nine-show run at a single stadium is a first for any performer worldwide. They may have both won Grammy Awards but the editors at People magazine say that India.Arie and Kelly Rowland were big losers when it came to fashion. The magazine’s website list what it considers some of the fashion faux pas at the awards show, and Arie and Rowland didn’t make the cut. The magazine says it liked Arie’s haircut but her outfit needed improvement. Rowland’s outfit left much to be desired as well, according to the editors. Bee Gees Barry and Robin Gibb received an honorary Grammy Award Sunday night without their brother, Maurice, who died last month. Setting aside the famous fractures of their friendship, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel reunited Sunday to open the Grammy Awards show with their Vietnam era ballad “The Sound of Silence.” The folk-rock duo, which sold millions of records in the 1960s before breaking up, was honored with a lifetime achievement award by the Grammys. A modest, 1 1/2-story house in a rough-edged neighborhood of this Detroit suburb is up for sale on eBay for a minimum bid of $120,000, though city records show it’s worth about $47,000. What the records don’t show is that the house is the boyhood home of rap and movie star Eminem. Todd Nelson, Eminem’s uncle, recently sold the house for $45,000 to lawyer Sebastian Lucido and his partner, Macomb County commissioner and real estate developer Roland Fraschetti.
