The former duo has reserved dates at concert arenas across the country, said Gary Bongiovanni, editor of Pollstar, a concert industry trade publication. Grammy-winning guitarist Carlos Santana has been working for free this summer so that those engaged in the fight against AIDS may benefit. Santana, who pledged the net proceeds from the U.S. leg of his “Shaman” tour to the fight against the AIDS pandemic in Africa, wrapped up the 23-city tour Monday night with a Hollywood Bowl show before a packed audience. It’s another record for The Boss. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have added two more dates at Giants Stadium after tickets for the original seven shows in July sold out Saturday. That marked the first time in Ticketmaster history that a performer sold tickets for seven stadium dates in a single day. The nine-show run at a single stadium is a first for any performer worldwide. They may have both won Grammy Awards but the editors at People magazine say that India.Arie and Kelly Rowland were big losers when it came to fashion. The magazine’s website list what it considers some of the fashion faux pas at the awards show, and Arie and Rowland didn’t make the cut. The magazine says it liked Arie’s haircut but her outfit needed improvement. Rowland’s outfit left much to be desired as well, according to the editors. Bee Gees Barry and Robin Gibb received an honorary Grammy Award Sunday night without their brother, Maurice, who died last month.
