Manson, Reznor Score with Video Games


A track from Marilyn Manson’s recent Nothing/Interscope album, “The Golden Age of Grotesque,” will be featured on the new “Spawn Armageddon” videogame, Billboard has learned exclusively. “Use Your Fist, Not Your Mouth” will be included in the game, which arrives in stores Nov. 26. “If any artist epitomizes my antihero Spawn, it’s Marilyn Manson,” says Todd McFarlane, creator of the noir comic character and head of McFarlane Enterprises. Manson previously contributed “Long Hard Road out of Hell” with the Sneaker Pimps to the 1997 “Spawn: The Movie” soundtrack. Made Clothing Partners With Nike


Made Clothing have announced a partnership with Nike to manufacture a limited edition run of Nike Dunk shoes. The clothing company, started by Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden, will produced 100-300 pairs of Made branded sneakers. While some will be made available to the public, most will be provided to bands that the company sponsors. Made Clothing will also set aside some sneakers for donation to charities such as Amnesty International. Beatles Items Sell Big on Auction Block


The Beatles again proved their enduring popularity when an auction of several pieces of the Fab Four’s memorabilia, including a rare early concert poster and a program for a 1965 U.S. concert tour, fetched thousands of dollars. The Beatles’ mementos were among hundreds of items from artists such as the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Queen and Madonna at Christie’s biannual pop memorabilia auction. Items up for sale Wednesday included autographed material, lyrics, gold discs, unpublished photographs and clothing. Led Zeppelin Allows Song To Be Used In 'School Of Rock'


Led Zeppelin has agreed to let one of their songs be used in the soundtrack for the upcoming film School Of Rock-but only because its star, Jack Black, asked personally. According to the studio, Black-who makes music with the comical rock act Tenacious D-stepped in after School Of Rock director Richard Linklater was unable to get permission to use “Immigrant Song.” Black reportedly sent a humorous videotaped request for the song to the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin, who subsequently gave their approval. Timberlake, Aguilera Notch Triple Platinum


Summer touring partners Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera each saw their latest solo albums reach the triple-platinum plateau in August. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified Timberlake’s “Justified” (Jive) and Aguilera’s “Stripped” (RCA) for U.S. shipments of 3 million copies. Both albums debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The artists recently wrapped their co-headlining Justified & Stripped U.S. summer tour and now have set their sights on Europe.
