Having completed its biggest tour in its home country of Canada, Nickelback now heads to Europe this week to spread the word about its second album, Silver Side Up. The Vancouver rockers begin a 10-show trek beginning Wednesday (February 12) in London, with shows scheduled in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Michael Jackson Sued By Promoter For Attempting World Tour Without Him


Michael Jackson is being hit with a $20 million lawsuit for allegedly shopping around for a new promoter for an upcoming world tour. Marcel Avram, of German promotion company Mama Concerts and Rau, claims he was promised the job of promoting Jackson’s next world tour after fulfilling his side of a written contract, drafted in 1998, that required him to pay doctors in Germany “several thousand dollars” on Jackson’s behalf, according to Avram’s attorney Skip Miller. Kid Rock has revealed dates to go along with the previously announced cites for his tour, which starts February 22 at the Wendler Arena in Saginaw, Michigan. Britney Spears has signed an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with Skechers USA Footwear Company to appear in advertising for the company’s 4 Wheelers roller-skate line.
