The Smashing Pumpkins recently wrapped up a 2024 tour with Green Day, but lead singer Billy Corgan is staying busy with a new addition to his family. The frontman and his wife Chloe Mendel, who tied the knot in 2023, announced in a People Exclusive that their baby Juno Corgan came into the world on March 18. Watch: American Idol Contestant Nails Korn “Freak On A Leash” Audition

American Idol got a little *freaky* on its Sunday, March 9 season 23 premiere. One contestant stood in front of the three judges (Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan) to perform Korn‘s “Freak On A Leash.” The contestant, named Insite, also had long hair perfect for headbanging, and he nailed Jonathan Davis‘ beatboxing portion. Uniquely, Underwood knew each and every Korn lyric, and even joined Insite on the floor to perform “Bodies” by Drowing Pool.
