International artists are joining MTV in a multimedia campaign to raise awareness of the impact of HIV and AIDS in South Africa. The “46664” initiative takes its name from the prisoner number of former South African president Nelson Mandela when he was jailed under the apartheid regime in his country. Mandela is the figurehead of the new campaign. Sharon Osbourne, wife and manager of metal legend Ozzy Osbourne and host of her own talk show, is auctioning off hand-painted molds of her breasts online, according to the Associated Press. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Boarding For Breast Cancer Foundation, or B4BC, a nonprofit group co-founded by professional snowboarder Tina Basich. Osbourne displayed the molds on Thursday’s (October 23) edition of the Sharon Osbourne Show, prompting her guest, actor Anthony Anderson, to bid $5,000 for them. Arista recording artist P!nk is in the final stages of completing her hotly expected third album, entitled TRY THIS – in stores November 11th, it was announced today by Antonio “L.A.” Reid, president and CEO, Arista Records. The first single (and opening track) on TRY THIS will be “Trouble,” co-written by P!nk with Tim Armstrong (of alt-rock heroes Rancid), who also produced the track.
