Lenny Kravitz Plans Summer Tour


Lenny Kravitz will kick off his international tour starting with a show in Hiroshima, Japan in April. The singer also plans to tour Europe with stops at German festivals as well as Holland’s annual Pinkpop Festival. Billboard.com reports his only U.S. dates announced so far are April 26 and 27 at the New Orleans’ annual Jazz and Heritage Festival. A full North American tour is expected later this summer.

Silverchair Ready to Return With Atlantic Debut


Silverchair has completed work on their eagerly anticipated label debut. The album – titled “DIORAMA” – is currently slated to be released in North America on July 9th. Their first new album in three years, “DIORAMA” is unquestionably Silverchair’s most multi-dimensional work to date. Aussie Rockers INXS Set U.S. Tour with New Singer


More than four years after the suicide of their elegant frontman, Michael Hutchence, the five members of Australian rock band INXS will return to the U.S. concert circuit in May with a substitute vocalist. The group, famed for such hits as “Need You Tonight” and “Devil Inside,” will kick off a 40-city club tour in Anaheim, Calif., on May 30 with Jon Stevens at the helm, the group’s publicist said in a statement on Friday. Paul McCartney to Begin U.S. Tour on April 1


Former Beatle Paul McCartney will kick off his first North American concert tour in nine years in Oakland, Calif. on April 1, his publicist said on Thursday. McCartney, 59, will play 20 shows in 19 cities, including a two-night stand at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Hotel where the top ticket price will be $350, according to tour promoters. Tickets for the other cities on the eight-week trek of indoor arenas will be priced between $55 and $250, they said. Incubus Heads Overseas


Incubus’s two-week vacation from the stage is officially over-the group heads back out on the road to support its latest album, Morning View, with shows through March 23 in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand beginning today (February 25) in Osaka, Japan. The Los Angeles band will play five shows in Japan, including a two-night stand in Tokyo, another half-dozen Down Under, and two more in New Zealand. 'N Sync's Bass in Talks for Space Trip


Lance Bass could be going from ‘N Sync to in space. The boy band member is negotiating to travel on a Russian rocket for a mission in November, according to MirCorp, the Amsterdam-based space travel company. Bass said in a statement Wednesday that he was “completely overwhelmed.” “I’m looking forward to completing this lifelong dream,” he said. Ozzy Osbourne To Record Live Album, DVD At Budokan


Ozzy Osbourne, on his first tour of Japan in four years, will tape his performance Friday at Tokyo’s legendary Budokan Hall for a live album and DVD. Live at Budokan, a title most music fans associate with Cheap Trick’s bombastic 1979 live effort, is scheduled for a summer release.
