Gritty. Unbridled. Raw. These are just a few words of many you can use to describe sister duo Girl Tones on the release day of their debut album Precious. Hailing from Bowling Green, KY, Kenzie Shultz and Laila Crow weren’t always seeking out the rockstar life. In fact, they cut their teeth as classical musicians, studying cello and piano. Canadian pop-punk trio, Full Throttle, is paying homage to their roots in a new track featuring Cone McCaslin from Sum 41. “Generation of Tomorrow” is reminiscent of a long-lost Sum 41 track with a modern spin. This show was the epitome of “dudes rock.” Haywire became instant icons when they took their new hardcore tracks to New York City…specifically Times Square. The band shot their new music video “FLEX YOUR HEAD” at the iconic NYC tourist location, and was ultimately shut down by NYPD halfway through their performance of “HAYWIRE.” This just might go down in history as one of the most chaotic hardcore music videos to ever come out.
