On July 14, Pop Punk Summer Camp. had its inaugural event in Flagstaff, Arizona. Headliners included Mayday Parade and The Maine, who played their new single “Touch.” It also featured performances from The Wonder Years, The Summer Set, Real Friends, Cassadee Pope, and Daisy Grenade. Of course, with so much talent all in one place, there was bound to be a thrilling crossover that made non-attendees experience major FOMO. COIN has released their sad indie-pop heartbreak anthem and music video for “Take It Or Leave It” which is unapologetically uplifting in its instrumentals. (No pun intended.) Miss May I fans have been flooded with good news today! After inking a deal with Solid State Records, the metalcore mainstays have announced the 15 year anniversary re-recording of their 2009 full-length, Apologies Are For The Weak. ONE OK ROCK is delivering pummeling, urgent modern rock in their first offering of 2024, “Delusion:All” featuring a cinematic accompanying music video. The powerful song is part of Kingdom IV: Return of the Great General, which just hit theaters in Japan. The chorus is brutal yet poignant. “Why does it feel/Like they don’t feel anything?/I pray there’s a future behind those walls/(But maybe I’m delusional)/Let’s make a deal/Pretend this bastard democracy/Is just how we want it and we’re not exhausted,” the band sings. As they wrap their North America run supporting PVRIS, Pale Waves has released another taste of their forthcoming record with “Glasgow.” Preceded by “Perfume,” the new track is set to appear on the band’s fourth album, Smitten. Disney has announced A Whole New Sound album featuring reimagined classic tracks.
