Stephen Colbert will host his own Christmas special this year, Comedy Central announced Tuesday. “A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!” will air Nov. 23 as a one-hour special. Punk rock group New Found Glory has called time on its major-label career and signed a new deal with Epitaph Records. Its debut for the indie label, produced by former Blink-182 member Mark Hoppus, is due next spring. The Florida-reared group signed to Drive-Thru in 2000, but found its biggest success after parent label MCA took over with 2002’s “Sticks & Stones,” which has sold more than 863,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Hail to the Thief suddenly has all kinds of new meaning. Radiohead has a burgeoning beef with Prince over the Purple One’s refusal to allow fan video recordings of his cover of the alt-rockers’ seminal 1992 hit, “Creep,” to be shown on YouTube. Radiohead’s frontman Thom Yorke tells the Associated Press that he has no problems with Prince’s label, NPG Records, taking down clips of the artist performing his own tunes because of copyright concerns. Universal Motown Records’ artist, Forever The Sickest Kids, announced new US tour dates today. Co-headlining with Metro Station, the band will cross from New York to their home state of Texas. The debut album from Forever The Sickest Kids, entitled Underdog Alma Mater, will be released on April 29th.   The six man band has been touring the U.S. successfully and building a fanbase from the grass roots up. The much-awaited iPhone with 3G is coming in May, according to a report by the Bank of America. Both Apple and AT&T, its exclusive carrier partner in the U.S., have said a higher-speed version of the popular device is coming, but they haven’t set a date. The BOA’s research report was authored by analyst Scott Craig and cited Friday by the Reuters news service.
