The Academy Is… Debuts Two New Songs At Riot Fest


This past weekend, The Academy Is… played a dazzling set at Chicago’s Riot Fest. Ahead of their main festival slot, the William Beckett-helmed group played a Riot Fest Late Night Aftershow on September 20 at Concord Music Hall. Here, they played classic hits such as “About A Girl” and unearthed some fan-faves such as “Skeptics and True Believers,” which they had not performed since 2015. After embarking on a wildly successful stadium tour this summer and concluding the run with a headline set at Shaky Knees Fest this weekend, My Chemical Romance has announced The Black Parade 2026 tour, celebrating 20 years of their milestone album.
